The AH-64D Apache Longbow variant features a distinctive radar dome above its main rotor. This Longbow radar can track up to 128 targets simultaneously and prioritize the most significant threats. It provides the ability to launch Hellfire missiles in a “fire-and-forget” mode, which means the helicopter can launch the missile and then move to another position without having to guide it to the target.
