AA12 Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The AA12 Sound is the sound of the AA-12 (Auto Assault-12), originally designed and known as the Atchisson Assault Shotgun, is an automatic combat shotgun developed in 1972 by Maxwell Atchisson. The current 2005 version has been developed over 18 years since the patent was sold to Military Police Systems, Inc. The original design was the basis of several later weapons, including the USAS-12 combat shotgun. The shotgun fires in fully automatic mode only. However, the relatively low cyclic rate of fire of around 300 rounds per minute enables the shooter to fire semi-automatically de facto with brief trigger pulls.

The AA12 sound Construction Kit demonstration uses 4 random “OneShot” sounds, then 4 random “Stop” sounds for close distance. And 4 random “Dist_OneShot” sounds for far distance, then 4 random “Tail” sounds for close and far distance. Use randomly one of “OneShot”, “Dist_OneShot”, “Stop” and “Tail” sounds and play them at the same time. The further the listener from the weapon – the quieter “OneShot” and “Stop” files. All the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. Also, these files were used for our Unity and Unreal Engine projects.
