The T-90 is a Russian main battle tank (MBT) developed in the early 1990s as an evolution of the T-72B, with enhancements in firepower, protection, and mobility. It is equipped with a 125mm 2A46M smoothbore gun, capable of firing anti-tank guided missiles, and features advanced composite armor combined with Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armor for enhanced protection. The T-90 is powered by a V-92S2 diesel engine, providing a top speed of around 60 km/h. Its fire control system includes thermal imaging and laser rangefinders, allowing for accurate targeting in various conditions.
In combat, the T-90 has proven to be a reliable and effective tank, with deployments in conflicts such as the Syrian Civil War.
