The PSRL-1 Designed Sound is the sound of the Precision Shoulder-fired Rocket Launcher-1 also known as the (PSRL-1). The PSRL-1 is primarily manufactured for US-allied nations who are accustomed to Soviet-style weapons and international export. In 2009, the American company AirTronic USA revealed their modernized version of the RPG-7, named the RPG-7USA, which was later developed into the PSRL-1. The weapon was a Program of Record in the United States Special Operations Command by 2015, and the PSRL-1 entered production by mid-2016. The first confirmed sales were made to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2017. Ukrainian troops used it for the first time in a conflict during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

KRISS Vector Designed Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The KRISS Vector Designed Sound is the sound of the KRISS Vector, a series of weapons based upon the parent submachine gun design developed by the American company KRISS USA, formerly Transformational Defense Industries. They use an unconventional delayed blowback system combined with in-line design to reduce perceived recoil and muzzle climb, invented by a French engineer Renaud Kerbrat. The Vector uses an articulated mechanism referred to as the “Kriss Super V”, which allows the bolt and an inertia block to move downward into a recess behind the magazine well. The theory is that at the end of this travel, the energy is transmitted downward rather than rearward, thus reducing the felt recoil. When fired, the barrel axis is in line with the shoulder as in the M16 rifle, but also in line with the shooter’s hand.

The KRISS Vector Designed Sound demonstration uses 3 combined “Start” + ”Loop” + ”End” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” sounds for close distance. And 3 combined “Dist_Start” + ” Dist_Loop” + ” Dist_End” sounds, then 4 random “Dist_OneShot” sounds for far distance. All the sounds in this preview as is the library, without processing.
