M2 Browning Designed Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The M2 Browning Designed Sound is the sound of the M2 machine gun or Browning .50 caliber machine gun, a heavy machine gun that was designed near the end of World War I by John Browning. The design has had many designations; the official U.S. military designation for the current infantry type is Browning Machine Gun, Cal. .50, M2, HB, Flexible. It is effective against infantry, unarmored or lightly armored vehicles and boats, light fortifications, and low-flying aircraft. The current M2HB (heavy barrel) is manufactured in the U.S. by General Dynamics Ohio Ordnance Works, and U.S. Ordnance for sale to the U.S. government and to allies via Foreign Military Sales. Foreign manufacturers such as FN Herstal produce it under licence.

The M2 Browning Designed Sound demonstration uses 3 combined “Start” + ”Loop” + ”End” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” sounds for close distance. And 3 combined “Dist_Start” + ” Dist_Loop” + ” Dist_End” sounds, then 4 random “Dist_OneShot” sounds for far distance. All the sounds in this preview as is the library, without processing. In addition, you can hear a similar sound from our projects for Unity and Unreal Engine. Please find links for example on our site or on our Youtube channel.

KRISS Vector Designed Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The KRISS Vector Designed Sound is the sound of the KRISS Vector, a series of weapons based upon the parent submachine gun design developed by the American company KRISS USA, formerly Transformational Defense Industries. They use an unconventional delayed blowback system combined with in-line design to reduce perceived recoil and muzzle climb, invented by a French engineer Renaud Kerbrat. The Vector uses an articulated mechanism referred to as the “Kriss Super V”, which allows the bolt and an inertia block to move downward into a recess behind the magazine well. The theory is that at the end of this travel, the energy is transmitted downward rather than rearward, thus reducing the felt recoil. When fired, the barrel axis is in line with the shoulder as in the M16 rifle, but also in line with the shooter’s hand.

The KRISS Vector Designed Sound demonstration uses 3 combined “Start” + ”Loop” + ”End” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” sounds for close distance. And 3 combined “Dist_Start” + ” Dist_Loop” + ” Dist_End” sounds, then 4 random “Dist_OneShot” sounds for far distance. All the sounds in this preview as is the library, without processing. Dragunov SVD Designed Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The Dragunov SVD Designed Sound is the sound of the SVD, is a semi-automatic marksman rifle chambered in the fully-powered 7.62×54mmR cartridge, developed in the Soviet Union. The SVD was designed to serve a squad support role to provide precise long-range engagement capabilities to ordinary troops following the Warsaw Pact adoption of the 7.62×39mm intermediate cartridge and assault rifles as standard infantry weapon systems. At the time, NATO used battle rifles chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO as standard infantry weapon systems and had not yet adopted an intermediate cartridge and assault rifle of their own, allowing them to outrange their Warsaw Pact counterparts. SVD has become the standard squad support weapon of several countries, including those of the former Warsaw Pact. China produced a copy of the SVD through reverse-engineered samples captured during the Sino-Vietnamese War as the Type 79 and 85. Iran also produced a clone, the Nakhjir 3, which was a direct copy of the Chinese Type 79.

The Dragunov SVD Designed Sound demonstration uses 5 random “OneShot” sounds for close distance. Also 5 random “Dist_OneShot” sounds for far distance. Desert Eagle Designed Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The Desert Eagle Designed Sound is the sound of the Desert Eagle, a gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol known for chambering the .50 Action Express, the largest centerfire cartridge of any magazine-fed, self-loading pistol. Magnum Research Inc. (MRI) designed and developed the Desert Eagle. The design was further refined by Israel Military Industries (IMI), until 1995, when MRI shifted the manufacturing contract to Saco Defense, in Saco, Maine. In 1998, MRI moved manufacturing back to IMI, which later commercialized its small arms branch under the name Israel Weapon Industries. Since December 2009, the Desert Eagle pistol has been produced in the United States at MRI’s Pillager, Minnesota, facility. Kahr Arms acquired Magnum Research in 2010. Magnum Research has marketed various versions of the short recoil Jericho 941 pistol under the Baby Eagle and Desert Eagle pistol names; these weapons are not directly related to the Desert Eagle, but share a similar visual design.
