M240 Designed Silenced Sound – Suppressed Weapons Library

The M240 Designed Silenced Sound is the sound of the M240 Machine Gun with an attached silencer (suppressor). It is the U.S. military designation for the FN MAG, a family of belt-fed, gas-operated medium machine guns that chamber the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The M240 has been used by the United States Armed Forces since the late 1970s. Infantry uses it extensively, most often in rifle companies, as well as on ground vehicles, watercraft and aircraft. Though it is heavier than some comparable weapons, it is highly regarded for reliability and its standardization among NATO members is a major advantage. All variants are fed from disintegrating belts and are capable of firing most types of 7.62 mm NATO ammunition. M240 variants can be converted to use non-disintegrating belts. There are significant differences in weight and some features among some versions which restrict the interchangeability of parts.

The M240 Designed Silenced Sound demonstration uses 3 combined “Start” + ”Loop” + ”End” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” sounds. All the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. In addition, you can hear a similar sound from our projects for Unity and Unreal Engine. Please find links for example on our site or on our Youtube channel.

AA12 Designed Silenced Sound – Suppressed Weapons Library

The AA12 Designed Silenced Sound is the sound of the AA-12 (Auto Assault-12) with an attached silencer (suppressor), originally designed and known as the Atchisson Assault Shotgun. It is an automatic combat shotgun developed in 1972 by Maxwell Atchisson. The current 2005 version has been developed over 18 years since the patent was sold to Military Police Systems, Inc. The original design was the basis of several later weapons, including the USAS-12 combat shotgun. The shotgun fires in fully automatic mode only. However, the relatively low cyclic rate of fire of around 300 rounds per minute enables the shooter to fire semi-automatically de facto with brief trigger pulls. The AA-12 is capable of firing various types of 12-gauge ammunition such as buckshot and slugs.

The AA12 Designed Silenced sound demonstration uses 5 random “OneShot” sounds. So, all the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. Besides, you can hear a similar sound from our projects for Unity and Unreal Engine. Please find links for example on our site or on our Youtube channel.

PKM Designed Silenced Sound – Suppressed Weapons Library

The PKM Designed Silenced Sound is the sound of the PK with an attached silencer (suppressor). It is a belt-fed general-purpose machine gun, chambered for the 7.62×54mmR rimmed cartridge. Designed in the Soviet Union and currently in production in Russia, the original PK machine gun was introduced in 1961 and the improved PKM variant was introduced in 1969. The PKM was designed to replace the SGM and RP-46 machine guns that were previously in Soviet service. The original PK was a development of Kalashnikov’s AKM assault rifle and the accompanying RPK light machine gun design. The PK uses the 7.62×54mmR Eastern Bloc standard cartridge that produces significantly more bolt thrust. The bolt and carrier design are similar to the AK-47 and other modernized Kalashnikov-pattern weapons, as is the stripping procedure performed to remove those mechanisms from the gun for cleaning.

The PKM Designed Silenced Sound demonstration uses 3 combined “Start” + ”Loop” + ”End” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” sounds. All the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. In addition, you can hear a similar sound from our projects for Unity and Unreal Engine. Please find links for example on our site or on our Youtube channel.

M4 Designed Silenced Sound – Suppressed Weapons Library

The M4 Designed Silenced Sound is the sound of a M4 carbine with an attached silencer (suppressor). It is a 5.56×45mm NATO, gas-operated, magazine-fed carbine developed in the United States during the 1980s. It is a shortened version of the M16A2 assault rifle. The rifle is extensively used by the United States Armed Forces, with decisions to largely replace the M16 rifle. The carbine has been adopted by over 60 countries worldwide, and has been described as “one of the defining firearms of the 21st century”. The M4 has undergone over 90 modifications to improve the weapon’s ergonomics and modularity. In April 2022, the U.S. Army selected the SIG MCX Spear, designated the XM7, as the winner of the Next Generation Squad Weapon Program to replace the M16/M4. Following the adoption of the M16 rifle, carbine variants were also adopted for close quarters operation.

The M4 Designed Silenced Sound demonstration uses 3 combined “Start” + ”Loop” + ”End” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” sounds. All the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. Benelli M4 Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The Benelli Sound is the sound of the Benelli M4, a semi-automatic shotgun produced by Italian firearm manufacturer Benelli Armi SpA, and the last of the “Benelli Super 90” series of semi-automatic shotguns. The M4 uses a proprietary action design called the “auto-regulating gas-operated” system, which was created specifically for the weapon. The weapon was designed in 1998, and was adopted by the armed forces of Italy, the United States, United Kingdom, among others, and has been used in a variety of conflicts, leading up to the present day. Additionally, the weapon is self-regulating for use with shotshells of varying lengths and power levels. It can fire 2.75 in and 3 in shells of differing propellant loads without any operator adjustments and in any combination.

The Benelli M4 Sound Construction Kit demonstration uses 4 random “OneShot” sounds, then 4 random “Stop” sounds for close distance. And 4 random “Dist_OneShot” sounds for far distance, then 4 random “Tail” sounds for close and far distance. Use randomly one of “OneShot”, “Dist_OneShot”, “Stop” and “Tail” sounds and play them at the same time. The further the listener from the weapon – the quieter “OneShot” and “Stop” files. All the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. Also, these files were used for our Unity and Unreal Engine projects. Desert Eagle Sound – Modern Weapons SFX Library

The Desert Eagle Sound is the sound of the Desert Eagle, a gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol known for chambering the .50 Action Express, the largest centerfire cartridge of any magazine-fed, self-loading pistol. Magnum Research Inc. (MRI) designed and developed the Desert Eagle. The design was further refined by Israel Military Industries (IMI), until 1995, when MRI shifted the manufacturing contract to Saco Defense, in Saco, Maine. In 1998, MRI moved manufacturing back to IMI, which later commercialized its small arms branch under the name Israel Weapon Industries. Since December 2009, the Desert Eagle pistol has been produced in the United States at MRI’s Pillager, Minnesota, facility. Kahr Arms acquired Magnum Research in 2010. Magnum Research has marketed various versions of the short recoil Jericho 941 pistol under the Baby Eagle and Desert Eagle pistol names; these weapons are not directly related to the Desert Eagle, but share a similar visual design.

The Desert Eagle Sound Construction Kit demonstration uses 4 random “OneShot” sounds, then 4 random “Stop” sounds for close distance.
